    Tina Rodriguez, founder

    Tina is a survivor from central California with over 25 years of experience helping victims, expanding rights, and advocating for change. Tina graduated from California State University Fresno in 2014 with Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She currently serves as Board President of Valor, a national organization committed to advancing equity and ending sexual violence. Her passion is rooted in prevention through cultural accountability

  • BALDWIN MOY, BOARD PRESIDENT

    Board President, Baldwin Moy is the Directing Attorney for California Rural Legal Assistance in Madera. Baldwin serves his community with sincere compassion for the most underserved populations. He has been honored with awards for serving domestic violence victims and in 2019 he was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the Madera Chamber of Commerce.

  • ANITA D. EVANS, BOARD MEMBER

    Ms. Evans is a survivor and the first Black Woman to join city council for Madera district 4. Ms. Evans is dedicated to uplifting the visibility of underserved communities by showing up as a leader ready to serve. Ms. Evans uses her voice to make a difference for those most impacted by poverty and violence.

  • JUAN AVITIA, BOARD MEMBER

    Juan Avitia is an educator and social justice activist in the central valley. He comes from a migrant family of farmworkers and is a survivor that has overcome injustices. Juan travels throughout the United States and other countries as a speaker. He graduated from California State University Fresno and San Joaquin College of Law.

  • SARAH RODRIGUEZ, BOARD MEMBER

    Sarah is a highly accomplished real estate agent in the central valley. Sarah is also the driving force behind the demand for changes to strengthen domestic violence laws. Her work to raise awareness and end domestic violence is inspired by the legacy of her beloved cousin Calley Jean.

    Our volunteers, counselors, mentors, advocates, promotoras, maestros, and outreach workers are passionate about serving the community. We know that healing from trauma is a lifelong journey and no single approach fits everybody. We center survivor voices in all of our activities.
